Shrinkle compresses videos in your browser. The app does not upload your video, frames, or audio to a server.
Your video
The file you choose is read by the local FFmpeg engine. The result is prepared in your browser for you to download. Shrinkle does not keep a video history or require an account.
Analytics and cookies
The app does not set cookies. The production host adds Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site visits and performance. Shrinkle does not send filenames, local file paths, or video contents to an analytics service. Technical diagnostics, including filenames and FFmpeg errors, appear in your own browser console.
Requests to load the site
Your browser requests the page from its host and downloads FFmpeg code from jsDelivr. Those providers may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details. The app does not attach your video or filename to those requests.
